With his 4th MVP award, the WCT6 Pan American Duke of Dodge is, amazingly - Kyle Soderman!!! He now has 3x Baron of Bolt awards and 1x Duke of Dodge, the only award missing from the collection is Knight of Flight (could this happen at the WCT6 Worlds?). Kyle was involved in the most chases (34); scored the most Evasions (11); and conceded one. In every event Kyle has competed in (apart from WCT5), he has been involved in the most chases and scored the most Evasions. Devon Strehle (captain of the eventual winners, Apex Sun) was involved in the 2nd most chases (31), scored 5 Evasions and conceded 1. He was also the athlete with the highest number of Chases as a Chaser, with 15. Of all the athletes with a 100% tag rate at the event, newcomer Michael Fraser (MVMNTM) was involved in the most Chases as a Chaser with 12, which is extremely impressive seeing that this was his first event so looking forward to seeing him compete again in the WCT7 season (his overall stats were 28 Chases, 5 Evasions, 0 Concedes). As a side note, MVMNTM were the only new team to progress to the Quarter Finals. They now have access to a permanent Quad at their MVMNTM facility so they will definitely be a team to watch out for in the WCT7 season. Kyle’s Hollywood Freerunner teammate, Amos Rendao, was involved in the 2nd highest number of ‘Chases as a Chaser with a 100% tag rate’, with 9 (his overall stats were 19,2,0). Another very impressive newcomer was Ky Baldwin from Tempest. He scored the 2nd highest number of Evasions (9) and his overall stats were 27,9,1.
The number of permanent Quads in the Americas has grown a lot since this event so we’re very excited to see the quality of Chasing in the WCT7 season!! Until then, Keep Chasing and Don’t get Caught!
