
The Chelsea International Fine Art Competition is among the most established and prominent international art competitions and offers over $70,000 in prizes. The 2019 exhibition features painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and printmaking from a diverse group of artists at varying stages in their careers. Figurative, still life, and abstract works feature prominently in this year’s competition, which was juried by Alaina Claire Feldman, Director of the Mishkin Gallery, The City University of New York (CUNY) Baruch’s Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery; Kentaro Totsuka, Director of ‘HPF Christopher Inc. and hpgrp GALLERY TOKYO; and Arnold J. Kemp, Dean of Graduate Studies, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC).
The 34th Chelsea International Fine Art Competition Exhibition opened with a reception Thursday, August 15, 2019 6-8 PM and was on view until August 20, 2019.
