10 Years Ago | Girl Who Wept Stones. We stopped on a whim & shot this grainy guerrilla video back in 2007 in an abandoned house on the road to Cypremort Point, Louisiana. The YouTube video got like 10k views in the next year. People started covering the song in YT videos before I had an album out. I later recorded it proper for American Longhair album in my old house, using the same cheap buzzing Dobro. Same day, also shot a guerrilla vid for an early version “Too Old to Die Young,” which I hadn’t finished. | Q&A.
