Another video exploring sonorities related to hip hop culture. In these days i'm listening "Uk Drill" a sort of trap sub-genre with the same dark and deep basses but with a little more syncopated hi-hat beat that remind uk-garage and 2step swinged grooves. The basses on tis performances are generated with Volca Samples looping a really small part of a kick sound then pitching down, filtering and adding the characteristic pitch envelope. The basses made with this technique are deep and dark just a little tricky to tune perfectly :D. Using the "Song" mode i made some 4 measures long patterns then blended together using the analogue master EQ and a little of Korg Kaossilator noises.Follow my channel for more contents
