On this trip to the northernmost point, I encountered a heavy snowstorm and had to take shelter for the night in my car.
It was my first experience with near-whiteout conditions, and the fear left me unable to move. As I’m not used to traveling in Hokkaido, I’ll prioritize safety as I continue heading north.
