This is the first episode of my new series, City Living, where I speak with an artist/DJ/friend about life in their city. I chatted over FaceTime with Ruf Dug a few weeks ago, and our conversation covered the history of Manchester, the Labour, worker-first mentality that shapes the city, the impact of gentrification, how Ruffy “gives back” to the community, and a handful of tips on where to go for lunch, some outdoor activities, where to go for a mellow evening out, and he shouts out some artists from the city.

It was such a treat to get to make a tune with Ruf, who’s been one of my musical heroes for years now. And getting to have a chat like this with him was such a delight.
