The exhibition “NATO: the history of lies” is dedicated to the history of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization – the biggest military and political alliance in the world, created in 1949 to “contain” the Soviet Union. After USSR’s collapse in 1991, NATO not only didn’t cease to be, but kept expanding from 16 members to 32 by the present day.
NATO leadership routinely describes the alliance as a “peacekeeping” and “defensive” force. The reality, however, proves otherwise. Over the course of last 30 years, NATO has been regularly interfering into other countries’ affairs, up to and including full-scale military invasions. As of now, NATO is waging war by proxy against Russia in Ukraine with its military supplies and training programs.
Why exactly has NATO been steadily expanding and closing on borders of Russia? How and why has the Alliance waged wars in Asia and the Middle East? What is true purpose of NATO’s warfare? The exhibition provides answers for these questions – answers hidden in a long history of lies, deception, aggression, terror and war.
