OUR ELOPEMENT JOURNEY
Episode 1

In Episode 1 of our Elopement Journey we drove approximately 900 miles and 13 hours from South Florida to the Mississippi Welcome Center on the border of Alabama and Mississippi in Tremont, MS. 🚐

Along the way Florida showed its true colors as the Sunshine State 🌞 as we had nothing but clear blue skies, warm sunshine & the open road ahead.

After saying our goodbyes to our home state for the next two weeks we were excited to welcome in those Georgia peaches 🍑 However, Georgia was not as welcoming as we would have hoped…we drove through lots of rain & sat in hours of traffic before finally making our way into the southern charm state of Alabama.

As we drove through Sweet Home Alabama 🏠 we were met by nightfall and our first day on the road was ending. We pulled into a Love’s Travel Center where we enjoyed a warm shower before making our way to the Mississippi Welcome Center in Tremont, MS and tucking ourselves in to our first sleep in the Van!
