Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume claims Australians understand that they’ve gone “backwards” under the Albanese government.

“As we lead up to election day though, Australians will be looking to see what the alternative and they know that they’ve gone backwards under an Albanese government,” she told Sky News Australia.

“That they are poorer under Labor, that their standard of living has reversed, and they’ll be looking to see what the alternative is.”
