Various shots as people settle down to fish and cast their lines, 12 year old Ralph Boting drinks tea from a flask. C/U a man nets a bronze bream fish and takes the line out of its mouth. Various shots as a steamboat sails up the river. A girl lies in the grass reading. The anglers weigh their catches, M/S as they pour the fish back. There is a presentation of a new fishing rod to the winner Mr D. Colley.
