Your Fantastic Mind - What would you do if you found out you had an aneurysm in your brain? Most often we hear about people who ‘drop dead’ from them, but many people live without a problem with aneurysms, although it’s hard to predict when they will burst/bleed. We followed a neurosurgeon through a clinic day as he sees four different people who’ve just found out they have aneurysms. Most people discover them by accident when they are scanned for something else. Some people are told to go home and live their lives and one woman makes her appointment for surgery that day. It turns out that in many cases, it’s up to you, whether you can live with something in your brain that is unpredictable.
