An angry mob ransacked and set ablaze the house of Bangladesh's founding father and ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's father Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The attackers forcibly entered the premises, now a museum, and went on a rampage, destroying the structure with hammers and crowbars. Hundreds also protesters outside raising slogans against dictatorship, fascism and the Awami League. The violence erupted after Sheikh Hasina addressed party workers virtually. Later, Hasina condemned the violence saying the structure can be erased, but history can't be wiped out. She also added that Bangladesh had become a land of terrorists and fighters.
