📌 **Dralin Carswell, Boyfriend of Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, Pleads Not Guilty to Charges in February Police Chase Case**  

In this video, we break down the latest updates on the legal troubles surrounding Dralin Carswell, the boyfriend of Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson. Dralin, 22, has pleaded not guilty to four charges stemming from a February police chase that made headlines earlier this year. The charges include:  
- Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police Officers  
- Driving Under the Influence (Controlled Substance)  
- Driving Under the Influence (Drugs)  
- Giving False Information to a Law Enforcement Officer  

The incident occurred on February 28 when Dralin was driving Alana and a friend, Julian Williams. Police attempted to pull him over after discovering the car’s owner had outstanding warrants. Instead of stopping, Dralin allegedly led officers on a three-mile chase, reaching speeds of 75 mph in a 55 mph zone and even running another car off the road. The chase ended when a police car collided with Dralin’s vehicle, causing him to lose control.  

Upon being pulled over, Dralin initially gave police a false name. Officers later discovered his true identity and found that he was wanted in another county for a probation violation. During a search of the vehicle, police reportedly found a bag of marijuana and an unregistered firearm. Court documents also revealed that Dralin had marijuana in his system at a level that made it “less safe for him to drive.”  

While Alana was not arrested, she was taken to the Monroe County Jail and later released to her sister and guardian, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon. Julian Williams, Dralin’s friend, was also arrested due to outstanding warrants.  

A week after the incident, Alana and Lauryn took to TikTok Live to defend Dralin, calling out critics for supporting other public figures who’ve done “way worse.” However, the sisters have yet to comment on Dralin’s recent not-guilty plea.  

Meanwhile, Alana is preparing to start a six-year neonatal nursing program at Regis University in Denver, Colorado, as she continues to focus on her future.
