Together with vocalists Luna Mae, Gaidaa, Robin Yerah, rapper Jay-Way and a talented list of musicians, Jarreau Vandal shows that the future of soul in the Netherlands is on! "This track originated from a demo I made with Gaidaa and I had no idea what it would sound like with a full band and if a cypher concept would work at all. In the end it has become much better than I thought, I am really happy with it" says the Amsterdam based artist.
"I hope that people will not forget this composition and cypher and will look back more often. I also hope that people realize that we have such talented vocal talent in the Netherlands. And certainly a shout out to this band, every musician I have chosen are all individually very talented people. For example, the keyboard player Anan Ya'ari also produces his own music, but also credits to drummer Kick Woudstra, bass player Reindert Kragt, and Randell Heye on the trompet."
