"Eternal Word Descending" is largely based on "Verbum Supernum Prodiens" (Latin for "Word Above Proceeding") a hymn written by Saint Thomas Aquinas (1224/5-1274) in the 13th century. I wrote English lines that roughly correlate to stanzas 1, 2, and 4, of Aquinas's text. I omitted stanza 3. I also omitted the last two stanzas, as they occur in my metal version of "O salutaris hostia."

I used deepai.org (artificial intelligence) for the image. I used suno.com (artificial intelligence) for the music. I used lalal.ai (artificial intelligence) to separate the music into 2 tracks so I could (human work) mix and master the song in Reaper. The rolling clouds were created by AI through klingai.com The video was edited in Filmora 14 (human work).

If you're into Christian metal this is probably the video for you. If not, you still might enjoy it. Remember, God loves everyone, and so should we. Be nice to each other, even if you disagree. Have a great day.
