I'm BalzerDesigns on Periscope! What is Periscope?
Periscope is a livestreaming app for your phone. When you watch live, you can ask questions by typing into your phone. You can give the person recording likes or hearts by tapping the screen during the broadcast. This lets the person recording know whether or not you are enjoying the content.
One of the unique things about periscope is that much like snapchat, videos disappear after twenty-four hours. You must watch it in that timeline or it's gone forever!
Periscope gives the person recording the option to save the video to their camera roll. (Viewers cannot save the video.) However, the video you save doesn't include any of the comments or questions that you can see during the live viewing or the replay.
So, in the video above, I'm answering questions you can't see and talking to people you don't know are there. Weird, right? But I think it's fun to see all the samples and new designs!
