Metamorphosis was released in 2001 and includes over 100 rhythm loops and their individual one shots on three AKAI/EMU CD-ROMS and one MAC/Windows data disc, as well as a huge selection of groove menus and the Groove Control™ system. ("Groove Control™ was developed by Spectrasonics and ILIO to give you a simple, high quality way to independently change the tempo, pitch, pattern and feel of stereo loop right from your own sequencer.") Metamorphosis was used on many video game soundtracks in the early 2000s, like Silent Hill 3, Spyro - Enter the Dragonfly or Tomb Raider Legend. It was also used in songs by Enigma or Gary Numan for example.
