The Latin American Trans-Ancestry Initiative in OCD Genomics is not just a study... it’s a movement. For the first time, researchers are looking beyond European ancestry to understand how genetics shapes OCD — and what that means for treatment, especially in underrepresented communities.
As a CBT therapist here in Edinburgh who works with people struggling with OCD every day, I find this research incredibly hopeful.
