We start with something rather exciting: the arrival of a robotic lawn mower, generously sent to us for testing. It’s our first experience with smart garden tech, and we’re curious to see how it copes with our rugged, sloping Scottish garden. Join us as we unbox it and share our honest first impressions.
With the days lengthening, we’re also busy in the garden — we'll be planting new trees, including a beautiful young oak. There’s something deeply hopeful about planting in Spring: imagining what these trees will become, and knowing they’ll long outlive us.
Then, in true countryside fashion, the day takes an unexpected turn. Our cat finds a stoat, and we race to rescue it before any harm is done.
And finally, we crunch some numbers and start planning for the new sheep stable — yes, we’re building it ourselves. We talk about the costing, the financial challenges.
