Welcome to my instrumental ambient guitar cover of Heaven's A Lie by Lacuna Coil, a powerful gothic symphonic metal song that features a prominent melody on guitar accompanied by a counter melody on piano, arranging both for acoustic guitar was a challenge! For this performance I made full use of the stereo outputs from the delay and reverb pedals and had a lot of fun creating a variety of dark ambient sounds. I hope you enjoy the result!

Artwork - 'Dante and Virgil in Hell' by Filippo di Liagno. I choose this painting to accompany the song as it's ominous and bizarre depiction of the underworld sits well with song's title and the dark, eerie music.
