Cupola furnaces, with their shaft-like design, allow feeding materials from the top and remain essential in modern foundries. The required temperature is reached using coke and oxygenated air. These furnaces can process 500 kg of material at once, and the liquid cast iron is distributed to production lines via a turntable. In the casting process, up to 400 moulds are prepared per hour, where moulding plates are filled with mass under pressure, and cast iron is poured into the prepared packages.
