Therapist reacts to XIX by Slipknot, which is an ode to Paul Gray, one of the founding members of Slipknot who died. This song encapsulates so many of the feelings we experience during grief. And the refrain "Walk with me" is an expression of a common need for us to have someone carry the pain of our loss with us. This song can actually be a gift of Slipknot who's walking alongside you. If your friends or family don't know how to talk about grief, if you don't know how to bring up your grief and say I'm hurting, this is how you can take the grief journey with someone else.
