Hello everyone, welcome back to Moonlight Film! 🌙🎬
Today, we’re diving into one of the most popular text animation effects you’ll see in film edits. Let’s go step by step.

✨ First, open up After Effects.
Select the Text Tool, and type in the words you want.
Here, feel free to choose your favorite font and color.

🖥️ Next, go to the Alignment Panel and make sure your text is perfectly centered — both horizontally and vertically.

Now comes the fun part — animation! 🎉

Click on your text, add an Opacity Animator, and set the opacity to 0.

Open the Range Selector, and place a keyframe on Offset.

Move the time indicator forward, and change the offset to 100.

Great! Now let’s add some character spacing.

Add a Tracking Animator, move to the middle of the timeline, and set a keyframe for Tracking Amount.

Move forward again, and change the tracking value to 5.

We’re not done yet! Let’s add another Opacity Animator.

Move the time indicator to the middle, set a keyframe for Offset, and change it to -100.

Move forward a few frames, bring the offset back to 0, and finally, lower the opacity back to 0.

And there you go — a clean in-and-out text animation! 🎬
Want it to appear word by word instead of letter by letter?
No problem — just go to Advanced Options and switch “Based On” to Words. Easy!

Now, let’s give it some style. 💡

Go to Effects & Presets, search for Deep Glow, and add it. Set the Radius to 290, and Exposure to 0.15.

Then, search for Sapphire’s Drop Shadow and apply it. Set both X and Y distance to 4, and Shadow Blur to 5.

Finally, hit preview and… ✨ boom! There’s your smooth, professional text animation ready to shine.
