Celestus emerges as a one-man project delving into the icy void of black metal and cosmic atmospheres. Founded in 2024, the project is the brainchild of Oblivion, a composer and lifelong enthusiast of black metal’s dark and powerful energy. For Oblivion, Celestus is a way to express his thoughts and emotions, a journey through celestial themes and cosmic isolation.

Thunder rolls and rain falls over foggy forests, as footsteps carry you through a freezing, shadowed woodland. Above, a break in the stormy clouds reveals a night sky where dying lights streak and vanish into the void. The debut EP, Fall of Dying Lights, reflects the cycle of ascent and collapse, exploring the fragile boundary between light and shadow, existence and emptiness, leaving listeners suspended in a haunting and cold cosmic mystery.
