Rockin’ blues blaster on Modern, recorded in Los Angeles, CA, 22nd August 1951 with Smokey on vocals/guitar, Willard McDaniel on HOT pumping piano, Clifford Solomon tenor sax, Bill Davis bass and Al Wichard drums. Fantastic performance! The record was released in December 1951. I have uploaded this previously, but only filming the spinning record with my iPhone, but I thought it deserves a proper upload with great sound, so here goes! Enjoy!
