Collections

Collections are a great place to find - well collections of sounds - curated by the Loopcloud team, artists, labels and users.

You can find collections on the Search Page.

There will also be Featured Collections on the Explore Page.

And, of course, you can make your own collections and see the ones you have already made by clicking Collections on the right of the application window.

To create a Collection, simply click the big Plus button. You can name it, give it tags and a description. You can also give it custom artwork if you’d like, or 4 pack artworks will be populated here as you begin to add sounds.

You can add sounds a number of ways.

You can drag and drop from anywhere in the Loopcloud app.

You can right click a sound and add it to any created collections or even create a new one from this menu as well. The currently selected Collection will be helpfully at the top of this menu.

There is also a shortcut to add your selected sound to the last collection you added a sound to by selecting a sound and pressing ALT + C

To Delete a collection you can use the 3-dot menu at the top of the collection page or right click the collection in the collection list.
In this right-click menu you will also find the option to make your collection public for other users to see. Once a collection is public, you can use this same menu to make it private again. There is a helpful icon at the top of the collection page to let you know if that collection is currently public or private.

If the collection is public, you will have a share button which will create a link you can share with your community. That link will take anyone who clicks it to the Loopcloud web app where they can see the collection, preview the sounds, buy any of them individually or the collection as a whole.

Collections are a great way to stay organized and discover new sounds that go together.
