Why is DATING SO HARD - and What You Can Do About It! Nearly half of Americans say that dating is harder than ten years ago. While dating has always presented challenges, dating, love, and relationships seem even more complicated.

Dating opens even the most well-adjusted to uncertainty and vulnerability. You’re wondering if your interest in the other person is reciprocated, worried about if you’re being too vulnerable, potentially worrying about your body, and if there’s sexual chemistry. There’s a lot you’re putting out there.

A Hinge study of online dating found that only 1 in 500 swipes resulted in an exchange of phone numbers. That’s five hundred swipes to get one phone number!

That doesn’t even guarantee a date… let alone a quality person ready for a committed relationship.

Even eHarmony says you have a better chance of meeting your partner through a friend than online.
