Alan James, the indie musician who is the one-man band behind Beavoys, stars in the official video for Seeing This Way, a single taken from the recently released EP “World Is Broadway”.
Seeing This Way, an elegant and melodic garage/psychedelic rock tune, ends that album with a theme that perhaps explores the other side of the matter showed previously in “In The Living Room”, that is, the use of intuition, focus and imagination to turn around initially bitter situations that everybody lives one way or the other in this world.
Beavoys is an indie band, which displays a wide and rootsy sound spectrum, oozing on pop-rock from the sixties. Beavoys nevertheless features a fresh, present and alternative as well as classic (timeless) approach, thanks to the musical direction and lyrics of Alan James, DIY musician and audiovisual artist who uses current technologies to create the different aspects of this kind of “one-man band’s” digital music, including record production, cover art and video.
Even if Alan’s music is versatile and with a blending nature about genres, there’s a common and proper trademark, for Beavoys’ heart beats always in Mersey, California, R&B and Folk/Country Rock sounds, seasoned with two/three-part vocal harmonies that sing juicy lyrics, wether they might be witty, deep, sharp, funny or all of it together.
