A storm of fan backlash, on-stage misfires, and surprise accusations has cracked open the metalcore mainstay’s summer.

Footage from their June 15 Warped Tour set at Washington, DC’s RFK Stadium shows Danny Worsnop hooded, half-lit, and leaning on backing tracks, while comment sections beg him to step aside. Bassist Sam Bettley’s Instagram apology only fanned the flames, and the band’s own reel: “It’s never f**king good enough”, felt like gasoline on the fire.

Now ex-frontman Dennis Stoff claims the group still owes him $5 million in unpaid royalties for 2016’s The Black, hinting at years of ignored emails and buried contracts.
