"Janus" is an award-winning short relationship drama made by an international cast and crew.

Simon appears to be everyone's best friend, while in reality he is a jealous, manipulative schemer. He coldly focuses on destroying the only meaningful relationship his best friend Ken has ever had, with a wealthy but nice girl called Heather. Will he succeed and what will he gain out of tearing them apart? Let the games begin...

The film deals with the idea of a person being able to be utterly convincing as a friend while in reality being an untrustworthy enemy, intent on betrayal. Everyone places their trust in Simon because he is so likable and down-to-earth, but as we see through flashbacks, he has often deliberately caused the problems they are now confiding to him, or what he overhears while eavesdropping. Just like Shakespeare's Iago, Simon is as two-faced as the Roman god Janus.

'Janus' was made by writer-director Steve Ramsden with a circle of frequent collaborators, and was filmed entirely on location in Cebu, Philippines. We hope you enjoy it!
