The Common Ground Committee is a citizen-led nonprofit whose creed is "Bringing light, not heat, to public discourse." In the present moment, CGC is particularly concerned with finding new and collaborative ways of healing racism and addressing the need for social justice.
Sir Rod & The Blues Doctors, a trio based in Atlanta GA and Oxford MS, consists of Rod Patterson (vocals), Adam Gussow (harmonica and percussion), and Alan Gross (guitar). Sir Rod & The Blues Doctors heartily endorse the goals and methods of Common Ground and are delighted to partner with CGC in this video, which features a portion of the Patterson/Gussow composition, "Come Together."
