Since switching to mirrorless cameras like the sony a7sii and sony a7iii one thing I have noticed is more dust and spots getting on my sensor, which in turn can make a great shot unusable.
In fact, on a recent wedding shoot I came home and upon bringing up my clips in final cut pro x I found that many of them had a dust spot that I needed to remove. I have found this method to work well in the past, so I wanted to share a fcpx tutorial video on how to remove sensor dust in fcpx.
This fcpx editing trick can be applied in any editor where you have access to a mask tool but this tutorial is specific to fcpx, though the concept stays the same.
