A kind man decided to stop by and she told him the price for each painting. It was around $800 in local currency. The girl has hearing problem so they sometimes communicate via her phone when the background noise was too loud.
He asked if she could draw a portrait of him and he pay her back next time because he forgot his wallet. She thought for a moment and agreed but refused to charge him. Despite the man's protest she began the drawing anyway. It's clear that the woman was very talented. She soon sketched out a beautiful portrait of the man.
She told him that she had been there since 7pm when he asked. She came from a rural village and her mother is sick, while her father works as a mover, moving heavy stuff for people, her father is in his 60s and knowing her parents couldn't help her much she has came to the big city in hope of making money easier.
She wants to make enough money for a hearing aid. It would cost $200k - $600k for the hearing aid in local currency. She makes about $3k in local currency per month. She said that she'll work hard for the money and won't give up no matter how long it takes.
The man was moved by her story and at 2 am, he told her that it's enough progress for today, praised her work and told her he was kidding about not bringing money. He transferred her $10k in local currency. A large amount. She was shocked and speechless. Saying it's too much. The kind gesture brought her to tears.
