The music itself was pretty much an afterthought. Arpeggiating two chords, back and forth. Back and forth. Totally improvised without a moment's consideration. Fiddling with knobs. Evolving it a little. Not much. Making mistakes. Swatting mosquitos. I even missed my chord change a couple times. Whatever. It wasn’t really about that this time.
This was all a big experiment. The first deployment of Moon Base Delta into the wild. I’ve only been playing with this stuff for a few weeks. There are so many synths and sequencers and effects boxes to discover. Song structure to play with. Tension to create and resolve. We’re just getting started here. And it’s already THIS MUCH fun.
