For this edition of Ruido Apartamento, we are presenting Chris Gorrie.

He is a high-energy selector from Brussels who was raised in Rome. This Scottish-Italian artist creates a fluent and luminous atmosphere through growling basslines, uplifting melodies, and occasional vocal edits. Currently based between Madrid and Lisbon, he has absorbed diverse influences that continuously shape his unique sound palette.

Founder and resident of Quinoa, a record label and event series that combines music and visual arts, originally based in Madrid and now with a global presence. He enjoys uncovering musical rarities and using them to create a welcoming atmosphere in his sets and at his events. Since 2021, he has been hosting the Quinoa radio show on Radio Relativa and appearing on Stranded FM and Collect Radio.

His performances have taken him across the globe from London to Buenos Aires, São Paolo, and Amsterdam, sharing the booth with names such as The Chemical Brothers, Unai Trotti, Giammarco Orsini, Laurine & Cecilio, Mari.te, and Ellen Allien to name a few. He also published in Mixmag, exploring music and science topics.
