🔥 Who is Nicky Blackmarket?
Blackmarket's interest in music began in his teenage years when he started attending sound system events in his local area. As the owner of Blackmarket Records, one of London's most influential record shops, he helped shape the careers of countless DJs and producers.

His sets on pirate radio stations like Eruption FM, Kool FM, and Dream FM were essential listening for ravers and DJs across London and beyond.

Throughout his career, Blackmarket has played at some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the UK and beyond, including Fabric in London, the Let It Roll festival in the Czech Republic, and the Sun and Bass festival in Italy. He has also released numerous tracks and remixes under his own name and as part of various collaborations.

Blackmarket is known for his eclectic DJ sets that draw on a wide range of influences, including reggae, dub, jungle, drum and bass, and more. He is also recognized as a mentor and supporter of up-and-coming DJs and producers, and has been involved in various initiatives to promote and develop new talent in the electronic music scene.

Today, Nicky Blackmarket remains an active and highly respected figure in the UK's drum and bass community, and continues to perform and produce music.

Eruption Radio is a London-based radio station that broadcasts online and on DAB playing house, breakbeat and happy hardcore, and drum and bass as well as other genres.

Eruption Radio originally started life in February 1993 as Eruption FM, a pirate radio station broadcasting from Waltham Forest, East London, broadcasting until February 2012.

Eruption returned as an online station on 17 May 2019, with many of its original DJs. As of 2 February 2021, Eruption commenced broadcasting on small-scale DAB in the Bristol area, and Cambridge.
Notable presenters and DJs have included DJ Zinc, Billy 'Daniel' Bunter, Nicky Blackmarket, and DJ Hype.
