Between the Clouds is a story for all ages and fills a unique need⏤it bridges the gap between picture books and chapter books. Forty-four full-color pages contain long passages of text to help expand children’s reading abilities, and enchanting illustrations capture the amazing adventures that a very curious little water droplet has when he’s not in the clouds!
Between the Clouds also celebrates all forms of life and showcases majestic sea creatures, noble birds, beautiful plant life, and even Polynesian voyagers! We love the people and islands of Samoa dearly and were sad to realize that ONLY 0.1% of all children’s books contain a primary or secondary character, subject, or setting about Pacific Islanders. By backing this project, you will help bring these characters to life and allow for future books to be written that will include even more Pacific Islander characters, subjects, and settings.
