Have you heard of this country before?!Welcome to PALAU 🇵🇼 We just arrived in this tiny island nation in the western Pacific, made up of over 500 islands, and one of the world’s best-kept secrets! We took a doors off Cessna flight with @smile_air_inc and it was absolutely MIND BLOWING to see this country from above!
Palau is known for its crystal-clear waters, it’s home to some of the best diving on the planet, pristine coral reefs, and the iconic mushroom-shaped Rock Islands, which are a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Palau is also one of the smallest countries in the world, with a population of just around 18,000 people. It only gained independence in 1994, making it one of the newest countries on Earth!
