The Rattles were a Hamburg band formed in the early 1960's. They played at the same clubs and bars as The Beatles. They were a support act to The Beatles when they played a tour of Germany in 1966.
They had a top ten hit single with this song in 1970 and were even on Top Of The Pops.
Interestingly, Edna Bejarano, the female singer was the daughter of Esther Bejarano who was one of the last survivors of the Women's Orchestra of Auschwitz.
