On February 8th 2024, I suffered from a massive heart attack known as the widow maker. It was the most pain I have ever felt. Thankfully I was already in a hospital and this is what saved my life. I had to be transported to St.Francis hospital in Colorado Springs to an ICU floor and immediately to surgery. I now have 5 stints in my heart and so thankful to God I am still alive. Doctors told me if I hadn't already been in a hospital I wouldn't of survived. This has been the most scariest ordeal ever in my life. I should be dead right now but everyone at Peak View Hospital went into action and did all the necessary procedures to keep me alive until paramedics arrived on scene. I was placed into an ambulance with sirens blaring in route to St.Francis Hospital. I can't thank staff and doctors enough, however they were all angels in every step keeping me alive.
It is so completely surreal to think that I should be dead right now and would of been gone a little over 2 weeks now. I am afraid to move or do anything in fear of dropping dead. I already suffer from severe PTSD and now this. I have been in Rehab Therapy for strengthening my heart and learning not to be afraid. Its been a struggle, but I'm taking it day by day. I was knocking on Heavens door but thankfully God just wasn't ready for me...
