Kings and Generals animated historical series on the history of Japan continues with a new series on Sengoku Jidai, as we start with the episode describing early campaigns of Oda Nobunaga and
Toyotomi Hideyoshi, as we describe the rise of Hideyoshi and the battles of Okehazama, Inabayama, Kanegasaki, Nagashima, Tottori and Takamatsu (). Akechi Mitsuhide's betrayal of Nobunaga at the Honnō-ji Incident, led to the conflict between him and Hideyoshi and the battle of Yamazaki. In the aftermath, Oda Nobunaga's inheritance came into question, leading to the battle of Shizugatake (). All this led to the clash between Hideyoshi and Ieyaus during the Komaki-Nagakute campaign (), followed by Hideyoshi’s conquests of Kii, Shikoku, and Kyushu.
