Sometimes it's good to have a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of work.

A good friend of ours runs a busy Gite business and often their house becomes their place of work.

In the past, they'd helped us out numerous times, so we agreed to assist them in creating an Escape Space to chill out.

There needed to be plenty of storage space, plus, costs and time spent would also need to be kept minimal.

Although this barn conversion was going to be a major transformation on the previously abandoned outbuilding, the intention wasn't to create an ultra posh, lavish chateau, more of a mega tidy up and make-over.

Unlike the current barn, the intention was to have a relaxing area, that didn't need dusting and sweeping of spiders every day.
