"Random" in the ladder format means a character is defined/chosen based off relationships the selected character has with certain opponents. Since I am the main protagonist almost every character knows who I am, therefore Deniz's presence in the arcade ladder is expected.
Small changes include a flashing select cursor in the character select, confirmation flash, super level flashing and edited hitspark effects to make them look more clean (paying homage to CVS2).
Oh and I have an exam on the 15th coming up for English which is why I haven't been uploading much lately. Wish me luck!
Important news:
You might have noticed already... but two slots are missing.
Libby and Ben were supposed to be in the game, however whenever we made plans to film they kept bailing on me since they had "other things to do". I had no choice but to pull them out of the project. I don't hate them for it though. It's their choice.
I just need to find two replacements now which shouldn't be too hard.
The game will still be released early this year... if you worried this would delay production. ;)
Also a friend from university has agreed to join the roster. His name is Jordan Glynn. He will wield the Spirit of the Dragon. Stay tuned for when that starts to be developed.
Evil Rubel's Level 3 and other assets still need to be added, and Banika needs to be finished off as well.
