A Ukrainian commander warned that seizing Pokrovsk would cripple logistics for multiple cities. Meanwhile, Russian military footage celebrated capturing nearby Yablunivka, while Ukrainian medics described extreme risks evacuating wounded under relentless drone attacks.
This push comes ahead of scheduled talks between US and Russian officials in Alaska, with Moscow seemingly intent on seizing as much territory as possible beforehand.
