Time for something... very very different for me. I've wanted to branch out into synth/drum machine/etc. demos for a while but haven't had the motivation. But since Donner just released their B1 bass synth/303 clone and there's very VERY little info out about it on Youtube, figured now would be the best time to start!
The synth itself is a 303-clone with a much more modern-ish interface. Pulls off the 303 sound pretty okay IMO. Not as well as the TD-3 or Roland's TB-3 and TB-03 but it isn't bad at all. Honestly the whole package leaves a lot to be desired in the end. Sequencing is clunky, there's no pattern chaining, selecting patterns is a bit wonky, the arp only works when the sequencer isn't running, and the whole thing doesn't really do much to justify purchasing it over a TD-3 to be honest.
But that's just me I guess, heh.
