July 2nd, 2001. This was our 3rd time playing Milwaukee Summerfest which was always a blast! Scott and Aaron were on fire that night and there is some ridiculously funny banter, not to mention Dan’s hilarious little comments. Funny, funny stuff! The band sounds pretty darn good too, Enjoy!Fun facts:
*Aaron thought it would be funny to shave his sideburns and most of his head, just leaving the pompadour on top.
Not a good look. Most of it eventually grew back.
*This was the very first live performance of “Ban the Tube Top” and “Suckers”. Also, this is probably the ONLY time we ever played “What are Friends For” live. We were about halfway through recording “Cheer Up” so we thought we’d try out a brand new song or two.
*Our stage lighting rider specifically requests “NO spotlights.”
*At this point Aaron didn’t play the “Beer” guitar solo behind his head at EVERY show like he does now.
