Glenn Jones, from Jacksonville, Florida, started his career as a gospel singer in the local gospel group Modulations and has since, managed a successful move into the R&B field. His singing style is similar to contemporaries such as the late Luther Vandross, and Peabo Bryson, but Jones doesn't have the hits as well as the above mentioned. His hits from the 1980s and 1990s include: 'I Am Somebody', 'Everybody Loves A Winner', 'We've Only Just Begun (The Romance Is Not Over)', 'I've Been Searching (Nobody Like You)', 'From Now On' (A duet with Regina Belle) and 'Here We Go Again'.
