In 1991 Brockie teamed up with friends to establish the infamous Kool FM 94.5
In 1997 Brockie set up his Undiluted Recordings label with Ed Solo, from which we have seen quality releases and much talent! The label has grown from strength to strength, with each and every new release which is unleashed from the Undiluted camp.

Brockie has played all over the world and because of this, coupled with his long running relationship with Kool, Det and Undiluted, he has become one of the biggest names in the scene.

MC Det is one of the UKs leading jungle/drum n bass mcs involved in the scene since way back in the rave days.
MC Det has been involved in the Jungle scene since way back in the rave days, when he used to MC on the then pirate Drum n Bass radio station Kool FM.

His first Jungle MC album was 'Out of Det' released on Sour Records in 1995. The album saw success not only in the UK but across America, Japan and Europe. He has also recorded albums and tracks with numerous artists including Red Snapper and Cut la Roc showing a diverseness and versatility that demonstrates that he isn't limited to only jungle and drum n bass music. His last album available on Times Two Records was called 'Knights of the MC' and features Skibbadee, Dynamite MC, Ed Solo and the legendary Ragga Twins.

A seasoned performer he has gigged extensively and toured with the likes of Asian Dub Foundation Soundsystem and Red Snapper who were the supporting act for Prodigy, Massive Attack & Bjork. TV work includes an appearance on The Jools Holland Show with Red Snapper. Widely recognised as one of the UKs top mcs in the jungle scene he still appears every weekend in clubs and big raves up and down the country and continues to perform on Kool FMs most popular show every Sunday from 9-11pm with his longtime partner of 20 years DJ Brockie.

Det is currently working with Brockie and top producers Potential Bad Boy and Wickerman, and also big international producer/artist Timberland.

Kool first broadcast on 28 November 1991 on the frequency of 94.5FM, from Hackney, East London. Kool has stated that it was "the very first pirate station ever to play hardcore jungle". Simon Reynolds would call it "London's ruling pirate station" in an account of the beginnings of jungle in his book Energy Flash, whilst in State of Bass, Martin James would consider it "The single most important pirate station in jungle".

By late 1992, Kool started to promote its own events, leading to the founding of Jungle Fever in August 1993. Jungle Fever nights have been held at venues such as the Astoria and The Edge.
In July 1993, its then-neighbouring station also broadcasting from the Nightingale Estate, Rush FM, was subject to a high profile raid by the authorities leading to media accusations of drug dealing at raves promoted by the two stations.

DJs and MCs to appear on Kool have included key figures in jungle, drum and bass music, including Brockie, Det, DJ Ron, MC Navigator, Bryan Gee, MC 5-O, Moose, Andy C, Mampi Swift, DJ Dextrous, Devious D, Ragga Twins, Flirt, Skibadee, Shabba D, Nicky Blackmarket, Tonic, Stevie Hyper D, and Crissy Criss.
