Wright has earned a reputation for sharing unfounded claims against several big names, including Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Diddy.
According to court filings described by AllHipHop, process servers visited a Phoenix address associated with Wright six times between May and August without success.
On some visits, the blinds appeared to move, but no one answered the door; on another, someone inside stated that no one named Jaguar lived there. Certified mail attempts also failed.
“It is apparent that [Wright] is evading service,” McKnight’s attorney Ryan Saba wrote, adding that “service by publication is necessary to provide notice of [McKnight’s] complaint.”Brian McKnight is seeking permission from a California court to notify Jaguar Wright of his defamation lawsuit by publishing legal notices in a newspaper, after repeated attempts to serve her in person have been unsuccessful.
For many years Jaguar Wright has ran her mouth on the internet and regurgitated things she's heard already that's already been said 15- 20 years ago, and embellishes them by flat out telling. Now Brian McKnight is holding her feet to the fire as he should. Other artists should take the lead and hold her feet to the fire as well.
Because she hasn't been successfully sued or only threatened to be sued, that tends to have people believing what she says is true. Which usually people rely on receipts to prove something true, but her fan base just take her at her word simply because she was a has been artist 30 plus years ago.
