Once upon a time I was working on a game concept involving George Clinton that didn't ultimately come together in the end. But, one of the perks of the collaboration was being able to meet the funkmaster himself during his appearance at the Tokyo Jazz Festival in 2009. After the show we went up to his hotel suite and relaxed with him for a couple of hours (he was so hospitable) while we talked about his music, had him name a couple characters for the game, and got him to sign a couple records. Life's a big adventure!
